Handstand Academy Terms & Conditions

1. General
By purchasing any class, course, coaching programme or digital product from Handstand Academy ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

 
In Person Courses
2. Booking
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.

Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel more than 7 days before your course starts, we will refund your payment in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the course start date are not eligible for a refund, as your place has been reserved and it is unlikely that it can be filled at short notice.

If Handstand Academy cancels a course, you may choose either:

a full refund, or
a transfer to another available course.
4. Missed Classes
If you miss a class, you may attend a catch up session subject to the following conditions:

you notify us before attending
there is space available
the catch up takes place before the end of your current course
Available catch up classes are:

Monday 7:00 pm
Tuesday 6:00 pm
Thursday 7:00 pm
Thursday 8:00 pm
Catch up classes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Unused classes cannot be carried over to future courses or future terms.

 
Online Coaching
5. Coaching Services
Online coaching may include personalised programming, video feedback, messaging support, live calls, assessments and access to educational resources.

As coaching is personalised, progress depends on many factors including attendance, consistency and following the prescribed programme.

No specific performance outcome can be guaranteed.

6. Cooling Off Period
If you purchase online coaching, you expressly request that coaching begins immediately.

If you exercise your statutory right to withdraw after coaching has started, you may be required to pay for coaching services already provided, as permitted under applicable consumer law.

 
Digital Content
7. Course Materials
Digital products include, but are not limited to:

video lessons
curriculum
downloadable resources
recordings
educational documents
Access is granted for your personal use only.

Materials may not be copied, redistributed, shared, resold or made publicly available without written permission.

8. Immediate Access
Where digital content is made available immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that this may affect your statutory right to withdraw, as provided under applicable consumer law.

 
Memberships
9. Renewals
Where coaching or memberships renew automatically, renewal dates, pricing and cancellation procedures will be clearly displayed at checkout.

You may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing date.

Cancellation stops future payments only and does not create a refund for payments already made, unless required by law.

 
Health & Safety
10. Participation
You confirm that you are medically fit to participate in physical activity.

You agree to inform us of any injury, illness or medical condition that may affect your participation.

You participate voluntarily and accept that physical training carries an inherent risk of injury.

You agree to follow all coaching instructions during classes and coaching sessions.

 
Photography & Video
11. Media
Classes and coaching sessions may occasionally be photographed or filmed for educational or marketing purposes.

By attending, you consent to appearing in such content.

If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, simply let us know before class or before a recording begins. We will always respect your wishes.

 
Conduct
12. Respect
We aim to provide a welcoming environment for everyone.

Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory or repeatedly disruptive may result in removal from a class or coaching programme without refund.

 
Changes
13. Schedule Changes
Occasionally we may need to change instructors, venues, schedules or class times.

Where possible, reasonable notice will be given.

 
Intellectual Property
14. Ownership
All videos, coaching systems, written materials, programming, curriculum and educational resources remain the intellectual property of Handstand Academy.

Purchasing a programme grants you a personal, non transferable licence to use the materials.

 
Limitation of Liability
15. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handstand Academy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in classes or coaching.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

 
Governing Law
16. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
